How to Use:
Stand in a comfortable position on the ground, holding the instrument in your hands, with your elbows firmly against your sides. Note: You must have this instrument in front of your body, allow enough room for the receiving antenna to unfold, and tilt the antenna slightly downward from the horizontal line. The angle is somewhere between 7 and 10 degrees.
1. Hold the instrument and scan it very slowly in an arc, rotating yourself together. At this time, the prospector should always keep his elbows firmly against the sides of the body, and turn about 40 to 60 degrees. Note: The prospector must rotate slowly and stick to a steady body.
2. Standardize your scanning actions. First, after the receiving antenna is properly extended and opened. Keep the receiving antenna directly in front of you, open at 90 degrees from your body, and cannot be deflected to the left or right.
3. When the line is aligned with the target object, the instrument will determine the location, although you continue to explore across the target. When you feel that this determination is valid, you remember this direction. Then, move the instrument about 10 meters to the left or right, and repeat the process of determining the policy described earlier. Observe this time to determine the direction, the intersection of the two directions is the buried orientation of the object.
4. If you feel that the specific orientation you just measured has a certain offset, you can determine it from another viewpoint. If the object is within 10 meters or so, you walk slowly and smoothly along one of the designated routes. When you pass the object and are directly above it, the antenna of the instrument wobbles on both sides. Now the azimuth is very accurate.
