This listing is for THREE SOLAR LIDS (no jars included) for standard mouth Mason jars. These lidsfeature a sleek solar module and LED lamp tucked neatly inside for a seamless look. Simply twist these on to any standard canning jar and you have a beautiful solar lantern. Our solar lids have a photocell that will automatically turn the lights on at sunset as long the switch is turned to on (they will arrive with the switch turned off, so be sure to turn the switch to on before placing in direct sunlight) and the solar panel on lid has been placed in direct sunlight for ample hours. Many solar lanterns use batteries that aren't replaceable. Our lids use a standard AAA battery which can be replaced as needed. Lifespan of battery will vary greatly. Similar lids don't have this feature so once the battery dies, you have to toss the entire module.
