This pewter hand stamped bead and wire wrapped ring is handmade with an approximately 10mm by 8mm pewter bead and your choice of wire for the band! The price of the ring will vary depending on your wire selection. This ring (as well as all the others in my shop) is custom made to any size from 4 to 14 including half and quarter sizes! Please select your size at checkout This ring can be made in Argentium Sterling Silver wire (tarnish resistant sterling silver wire), yellow gold filled wire, or rose/pink gold filled wire. Production Method: UNSURE OF WHICH WIRE TO CHOOSE FOR YOUR JEWELRY?; Information on Sterling Silver Filled Wire; Silver Filled is Hundreds of times thicker and more durable than Silver Plated. Silver Filled is a thick layer of .925 Sterling Silver mechanically bonded to copper or brass Silver Filled is 1/10 or 10% by silver weight. It can be oxidized and polished just like Sterling Silver. Information on Argentium Sterling Wire; Argentium silver is solid sterling silver. It is a modern sterling silver that has been modified. The traditional alloy (92.5% silver + 7.5% copper) is modified by replacing some of the copper naturally found in the sterling silver with the metalloid germanium making the metal tarnish resistant. As Argentium Silver contains at least 92.5% silver content of the traditional alloy, it is still referred to as sterling silver. Information on Gold Filled Wire (14/20); Gold filled wire is made by heat- and pressure-bonding a thin layer of karat gold to a brass (or other base metal) core.
