- This listing is for a Seat Occupancy Sensor Emulator.
- This simulator is designed to replace damaged seat occupancy sensor.
- The major function of this item is to reactivate the SRS function for safety purpose without installing a new overpriced OEM seat occupancy sensor. You can also use the simulator to diagnostic SRS problem and bypass the original seat occupancy sensor.
- Please note that after installing the simulator, whether or not anyone on the car seat, this simulator will send seat occupancy signal to OBC. So the seat belt has to be fasten at all time to prevent seat belt warning (or you can use a seat belt alarm eliminate clip).
- Once an accident occurs, this simulator will activate the SRS just like original sensor (whether or not anyone on the car seat).
How to Use:
Step1: open the simulator top cover, adjust the switch.
Step 2: Locate the seat occupancy sensor unit under front passenger seat, cut the wire and reconnect it to the simulator.
Step 3: Fasten the seat belt on front passenger seat
