Specification:
Item Type: Glass Tube Connector
Material: Glass
Size: Approx. 18 x 14.5cm / 7.1 x 5.7in
Application:
- Help initially known that the fluid is fluid
-
A preliminary understanding of the relationship between fluid pressure and flow rate
How to Use:
-
Put the instrument in the picture on the bracket, plug the valve with a plug, and let the water flow into the transparent tube with different pipe diameters, such as the glass tube shown in the picture. The cross section at A is larger than that at B. Vertical glass tubes a and b are installed at and B respectively.
- Slowly loosen the stopper to control the water speed, and continue to add water. When the water flows in the glass tube, you can see that the liquid level in tube a is higher than that in tube b, which shows that the pressure at A is higher than that at B. At B, where the cross-section is smaller, the water flow is more concentrated, and the water velocity is obviously greater than at A. This means that the fluid has a lower pressure where the flow velocity is high, and a higher pressure where the flow velocity is small.
Features:
1The glass tube connector kit is mainly used for experimental demonstration of the relationship between fluid flow rate and pressure. 2The thickened glass material is selected, which is stable and not easy to deform, and can withstand the collision during the display process. 3The exterior of the instrument is glossy and transparent, and the liquid flow is clear at a glance, which is convenient for visual demonstration. 4The kit contains a fixed bracket on which the glass tube can be placed in a balanced manner for easy observation. 5The demonstration kit is complete, easy to operate, and is a practical teaching aid in physics courses.
