1. Buy alcohol with a concentration of 95%. Alcohol with a concentration lower than 95% has a low combustion value, which may cause the engine to malfunction.
2. Add about 2/3 of alcohol to the alcohol lamp (do not top it up, it will overflow easily).
3. Then light the alcohol lamp to preheat the heating cylinders for about 2 minutes. After the preheating time is almost the same, the front end of the car shall prevail; Turn the flywheel clockwise to give the engine an initial power, otherwise the engine will not run. (The engine is easy to start when the flame is turned up and the flywheel is turned with greater strength).
Matters needing attention and troubleshooting of Stirling engine car model;
1. It's best to use it in a windless environment (the flame will be deflected when there is wind, and the engine won't turn because the cylinders can't be burned).
2. The car will generate wind in the process of traveling, causing the flame to flutter, and the hot cylinders can't be heated. Sometimes, the car will not move after walking. This is a normal situation, not an engine failure. (You can adjust the wick to the front as appropriate).
3. Pay attention to the fact that the glass evacuation tube in the heating cylinders cannot touch the inner wall of the heating test tube, resulting in excessive friction and the engine will not turn.
4. Check whether each node is stuck. If it is stuck, the engine speed is low or even the engine cannot run.
5. The wick of the alcohol lamp cannot touch the heating test tube, which will cause the heating test tube to break.
6. No liquid (water, oil, etc.) can be added to the heating cylinders and the power cylinders, otherwise the engine will not run due to excessive friction.
7. If the engine is running normally and the car can't move, please check whether the wheels are stuck or whether there are debris stuck on the wheels.
8. Pay attention to handle the trolley with care, otherwise it will easily cause damage to fragile parts.
Safe reminder: When heating, you can't touch the heating test tube and the surrounding metal parts, which will easily cause burns.
