Instructions:
In order to extend the service life and make sure measurement accuracy, please note:
- When not in use, keep the switch in the OFF position (facing the PH). Keep it cool and dry and noise-proof.
- Do not immerse the probe in any other liquid, small pool or mineral water.
- Regularly check whether the battery is full. One requires one 1.5V AA battery (not included).
Probe Cleaning:
A. Using #600 sandpaper, gently wipe off the generated metal pin.
B. Wash with not strong soap and wash in water, then wipe dry with clean paper towels.
C. Wait 3-5 minutes to reduce static electricity.
Chlorine Calibration-Commissioning: Before you use ET to test your swimming pool or SPA water for the first time, be sure to commission ET as follows:
- Use a conventional liquid testing tool.
- Record the value read by chlorine as it will be useful. (Eg 1.5PPM).
- No need to adjust PH value.
How to Proofread ET:
A. Install a 1.5V AA battery.
B. Hold ET in one hand and the probe in the other.
C. Insert the probe into the black zone in the water.
D. Use the probe to gently stir in the water.
E. While the probe is still small, turn the wheel on the tester to the left toward CL, and then slowly turn back to the right until the needle meets the chlorine value previously measured with a conventional liquid meter.
F. Remove the probe from the water, without touching the wheel, the indicator will move to a correct and stop on a letter between A and E. This letter is the value you debug.
Note: Whenever the ET is used to test the chlorine value, it must be debugged according to the ''debugging steps'' before use.
Test Chlorine Value: The chlorine value of the general pool is 1.2 to 1.7PPM
A. The needle position is pointing to ''ADJUSTMENT POINT''.
B. Hold the ET in one hand and the probe in the other. Insert the probe into the black zone in the water and wait until the needle reads a good chlorine value.
C. Gently dry the probe and insert it on the bracket.
Questions about 10064 water quality tester:
- It is found that the PH value of the test is not accurate, the measured value is 2-3 times the correct value, or the PH value is not displayed.
- The pointer of the tester shakes back and forth, cannot point to the left and does not display the value.
Answer: A: The water quality tester has a distinction between CL and PH. The surface of the water quality tester has a moving wheel marked CL and PH. If you want to measure CL, you must move to the CL direction. If you measure PH Sideways to the PH direction.
B: It is not necessary to install a battery when measuring the PH value, and a battery is required when measuring the CL.
C: Part of the pointer is silver, and the other part is black. During the test, the black and silver parts should be completely immersed in water.
- How to calibrate the tester.
Answer: It is not necessary to calibrate to measure PH. Calibrate before using CL.
There is no picture for the specific operation. You can refer to our English manual, which is also very detailed. The Chinese manual for reference.
